Resolutions so Far

Well I seem to think of resolutions all throughout the year, but I rarely write them down. It has occurred to me that maybe it is helpful to write them down because then I will have documentation of actually thinking of them. I don't ever do the "New Year's Resolution" thing because, to be honest, they bug me. I feel that it's natural to make resolutions all the time, not just when the calendar happens to reset and the weather is so poor that you need something to make you feel better. Also, they ruffle my feathers due to the fact that in January my Zumba classes are just so overcrowded. Lately though, I've been reassessing a lot of things that I hate for no reason and I decided to follow suit of all the people I know who have been posting "New Years Resolutions."

I have many and as they come back to my mind sporadically, I'll add them to my blog. For now there are just two.

1. Post more than 15 times on my blog this year. For the last two years, that has been the total number of posts, which I must say, is pathetic. Being that it is the third week of the new year and I am at 3 posts, I'd say I'm on track for a new record.

2. Finish Jesus the Christ by James E. Talmage by the end of the year. I was contemplating moving the finish goal date to my birthday, the middle day of the year, however, I shan't as of yet. This is due to the fact that tonight, after following all urges to read connecting scriptures, look up thousands of words in the dictionary, take notes for my talk next week, and read end notes, it took me 75 full minutes to read Chapter 2. It's about 8 or 9 pages long.
