break shmake
I love being OFF TRACK! Working 9 weeks and having 3 off is the best plan ever I think. At least for us new teachers. Now I have time to actually change up my schedule instead of waking up everyday and driving far away and teaching and planning and coming home late and grading papers and going to bed right away.
1. Gone to bed after 10:30pm
2. Been motivated to run
3. Actually gone running
4. Laid out by the pool
5. Read awesome books while laying by the pool, or in bed, or on the couch
6. Finished a book (2 to be exact) faster than my average reading time of 2 months (a week each. nice)
7. Made meals that didn't consist of only angel hair noodles and plain sauce
8. Eaten cute nice things for breakfast instead of instant chocolate carnation breakfast, which I do love, but gets old
9. Gone to the wedding reception of one of my favorite people: Chelsie Troxel!
10. Taken my darling nieces on the best trip to the zoo ever that included icy cold rain showers as well as a monkey vomiting and eating it. gross, i know, but it was a crowd pleaser.
Here are 10 things I have done in the last week
and a half that have made my life rock a bit:

I'm so glad you've had a chance to do all those great things! As a mom, I struggled with tracks so much and was relieved when we went to a traditional schedule. Now I can see why the teachers fought so hard to keep them ;)
