McBarrett
So yesterday I call Barrett when I am getting ready to leave work. I ask, as usual, what are you thinking for dinner? Then I usually think about what to make while I drive home. Unexpectedly, his response is "McDonald's." Fishy. Last year when we ate out at least 4 times each week we chose McDonald's zero times. So I get home and here is the explanation I got:
"So last year in my documentary class I was supposed to watch Super Size Me and I never did. It's been on my conscience all this time so today I decided to watch it. I know it's supposed to make you hate McDonald's but all I could think of is how much I am craving it for dinner."
Needless to say, we went to McDonald's for dinner.
But wait.
This morning we are so out of food that I sadly took a baggie full of honey nut cheerios (from April) for lunch and bought a milk at school. I then got home from school and, wondering what Barrett could have possibly found in the house ask, "What did you have for lunch?" I am expecting the answer of leftovers or sandwich.
He grins. Today was his second trip to McDonald's in two days. Evidence hidden at the bottom of the trash can. What can I say. It's a convincing documentary.
