What a satisfying day...
I vowed I would never make a blog but minor decisions aren't my strong point, so here it is. I'm still a little unsure about this. I also vowed to never read Twilight and I haven't broken that vow yet. So I don't feel like a complete failure.
Last week I decided I eat out way too much. I also decided a few days ago that I wish I could be a good cook. Then I naturally put it off in my mind like, "Oh, I'll cook when I'm a mom and I have to make dinner every night." Then I read this article called The Influence of Righteous Women. It reminded me that I want to be a well rounded person but that I wouldn't magically become a good cook when I became a mom. I have no time now and I'll have even less in the years to come I bet so if want to improve I should work on it now.
So today when I was planning my meals in my head I planned to have Noodles & Co. for lunch and a $5 Hot-N-Ready Pizza for dinner. I caught myself and went to the store to buy groceries! I rarely shop so this did actually deserve an exclamation point.
I ended up making Velveeta Shells & Cheese for lunch (not so hard to make) but for dinner I made pizza with HOMEMADE CRUST!!!!! With yeast and rising and kneading and everything. This was quite a feat for me. And it tasted super and it took me barely any time at all.
Here is my masterpiece :)
I used the directions for dough from this recipe.
