Sunday Drive

My injured knee has been affecting me quite a bit--not in the pain category, it's an almost painless injury now that I'm sedentary, but in the patience category.  It's been 3 months since I stopped running/walking/doing anything exciting and the doctor said I have about 3 months to go.  Not my cup of tea.  It's really put a damper on my spirits to not have the opportunity to go for a run or walk and recharge as I take in the best part of the year.  So tonight, we got out for a little Sunday drive and went up to the Capitol.  It was the prettiest evening I've seen this year :) We've never been up here and I got some spectacular shots!

Another beautiful day is done

This is exactly what I needed in order to bring back my positive attitude and realize how much I've been given.  Things could be much worse than enjoying the last days of summer in a beautiful place with a wonderful husband.

"Truly, the heavens and the earth and all things in them evidence the handiwork of God, their Creator."
-Elder M. Russell Ballard
