Vacation!
What a busy last month I've had!
How pleasing to be going, going, going.
I could go on with every last detail, but I'll keep the memories in my mind and share what I can with my lovely pics!

Surprise Chocolate Croissant and Steamer compliments of the best sister/hostess.
Dog park with Riggins! Pure sand and 100 degrees is the BEST combo ;)
Driving to Cheyenne! I always forget how much I love the plains.
Road. Sky.
Not the best pic, but I loved my outfit! If only I could be a cowgirl everyday.
Relaxing. Almost Zac Brown Band time!

Quick trip with my mom to see Auntie Anne, Kyle and Lindsey.
Does your aunt stand on the porch and wave until you drive out of sight?
My does. Without fail. Miss her so much.
Then off to dinner with parents, brother, and Grandma Z. who stitched me the cutest dish cloths!

Day with mom!
Love late night flights. But not as much as I love Les Miserables!

Salt Lake -- > Trabuco Canyon
Wake up. Pick up car from body shop with a flat tire. Get flat tire fixed. Pack. Drive 10 hours to Cali!
I just loved this one. Barrett was a little worried when he saw all these driving pics.
Finally entered Cali! It kept me going that I got to stay at my friend Caitlin Johnson's house that night! (Thanks, Cait)

Trabuco Canyon -- > San Diego -- > La Jolla
Who knew the San Diego Maritime Museum would be so cool!?
I now know how I am going to decorate my future home. So inspired by these ships.
Think the view looking out is cool? You should have seen what was inside. The biggest collection of Gauguin's in the world! (I learned he was quite involved in a bit of Maritime History.)
Color :)
Sunset at La Jolla Beach.
This little guy made my night.

Been to Cedar Breaks? It's pretty. You should go.
Final pic in a series by Carter. Only a great photographer could bring out genuine laughter and poses like this! (Thanks, Carter :)
Great mountain paths lead to great feet pics.
Great vacations with family lead to great steak dinners and great productions!
So fun! Honestly I'm so blessed to have every one of these people in my life!
Sunday, July 29
Cedar City -- > Salt Lake
Driving home with Jenny and Taylor we stopped at Cracker Barrel for our last vacation treat.
Then I slept for 3 days.
Oh, to be home after so much traveling. I was built up so much by this trip!
With my previously flat tire and long hours on the road alone I was happy to have a chance to rely on the Lord as my companion when I was nervous and alone.
It was hard to be without Barrett for more than week (only seeing him for a few hours Monday morning), but it really made me realize how lucky I am and how happy we are. I'm so grateful for family and those relationships that build me up and bring so much joy to life.
I also had a chance to appreciate the expansive beauty of our great country, listen to 1984 (which I would probably never read--I strongly dislike sci-fi-ish literature), and have time to be alone with my thoughts.
Happy summer! Hope you enjoyed the pics!
